Spread the Red!
Featuring a style that blends straight ahead rock with blues, pop and punk influences, Red Seven's music channels the power of classic rock while adding a few new twists to create a fresh, unique sound!
With songs that smoke, jangle and soar, Red Seven has drawn favorable comparisons to such varied bands as Tom Petty, the Crows (both Black and Counting), STP and the Spin Doctors.
Hailing from Chicago, the band formed in 2002 and spent the first three years "paying its dues" in and around the city. With the addition of Scott Crosby on lead guitar in 2005, the pieces of the puzzle quickly fell into place leading to the release of Red Seven's debut CD, "Anywhere But Here" in late 2006. Since then, the band has been "on tour" promoting its music anywhere and everywhere - creating new fans with every show.
Applauded by critics and fans alike, several songs from Red Seven's debut CD have been featured on radio programs and podcasts around the world. "Someone Else's Name" was recently selected as a "Best of 2006" song on Canada's CKUT radio, and "Everytime" has received airplay in both the UK and the USA!
Staying true to their midwestern roots, the members of Red Seven focus on writing solid, driving rock / pop songs with meaningful lyrics and hooks that stay with you well after you hear them.
